Job summary

nexAir, LLC is seeking a hands-on Load Handler/Forklift Operator in Fairburn, GA. You will load/unload compressed gas cylinders, operate a forklift, sort by type, and assist with inventory and shipments. Maintain safety and cleanliness, and follow PPE/FR guidelines.

The role requires lifting 50 lbs, moving 200+ lb cylinders, and the ability to work outdoors/in varying conditions. Prior forklift experience is preferred, with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school degree / GED required.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to roll 200+lb cylinders and lift 50lbs.
• 1+ years manufacturing or plant experience preferred; experience operating forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload compressed gas cylinders onto and off of route trucks and trailers.
• Roll cylinders and operate a forklift for movement of cylinders.
• Sort empty cylinders by type and assist with inventory.
• Review customer orders, pull items from inventory, and load onto trucks for delivery.
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance and ensure proper labeling and housekeeping.
