Clean Harbors in Chicopee, MA is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to operate light and heavy trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trailers, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks and vacuum loaders. The role includes driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste cleanup.

The position offers on-call emergency response, paid training, and travel with per diem for the stated academy requirement. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Competenze

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.

• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks and procedures.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Operate a variety of Class B trucks.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at point of service.
• Placard vehicles to meet DOT and company rules.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, and reports daily.
• Follow local, state/provincial and federal rules.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
• Adhere to environmental and health/safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Site remediation, equipment decon and handling of hazardous materials.
