Job summary

Woodford Transport LLC in Roanoke, VA is seeking a full-time transport driver. Candidates must hold a Class A license with air brake and Hazmat, have a clean driving record, and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

A Medical Examiner's Certificate is required, with capability to handle 50 lb lifts. Responsibilities include loading, securing, delivering, and unloading products, performing inspections, and maintaining driver logs and records in compliance with regulations and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Class A license with air brake and Hazmat.
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience required.
• Must possess a clean driving record.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must lift 50 lbs.
• Must meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, deliver and unload product to and from destinations.
• Prepare proper pre and post trip truck and trailer inspections.
• Maintain records per regulations and company procedures.
• Safely drive loaded and empty tanker trucks/trailers.
• Operate truck/trailer per safety procedures.
• Handle hoses, pumps and valves for loading/unloading.
• Fill tanks of all types and sizes.
• Use hand tools and wrenches safely.
• Complete driver logs and paperwork accurately.
• Cooperate with bosses, dispatchers, and customers.
