Job summary

Woodford Transport LLC in Roanoke, VA is seeking a full-time transport driver. The role involves loading, securing, delivering, and unloading fuel products, performing pre/post trip inspections, and maintaining regulatory records.

You will operate tanker trucks safely and handle hoses, pumps, and valves while complying with safety procedures and DOT/FMCSA requirements. The ideal candidate has a Class A license with air brake and Hazmat, at least 1 year of driving experience, a clean driving

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class A License with air brake and Hazmat.
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience required.
• Must possess a clean driving record.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to handle all weather conditions.
• Must meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, deliver and unload product to and from specified destinations.
• Prepare proper pre and post trip truck and trailer inspections.
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Safely drive loaded and empty tanker trucks/trailers.
• Operate Truck/Trailer in accordance to established safety procedures.
• Safely handle hooking/unhooking hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading.
• Safely fill tanks of all types and sizes.
• Safely use various hand tools and wrenches.
• Accurately complete driver logs and other paperwork as required.
• Courteously work with bosses, dispatchers, fellow employees and customers.
