Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• HazMat endorsement is required.
• Current DOT medical certificate.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA driver qualification requirements.
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to operate and safely handle commercial equipment.
• Willingness to perform local and regional work, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump truck and related Class A equipment.
• Transport hazardous, special, dangerous, industrial and other materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete manifests, shipping documents and logs.
• Follow DOT/FMCSA, state, customer and company safety requirements.
• Secure and manage loads during transportation.
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers.
• Perform local and regional assignments as needed.
• Overnight travel when required.
