Job summary

Reworld is hiring a CDL Driver III to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste across a multi-state footprint. You will operate a mix of equipment, including dry vans and tankers, with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and timely deliveries.

The role blends regional and long-haul work, requiring flexibility in schedule and time on the road. Expect extended trips and varying start times, with a focus on regulatory adherence and customer communication.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum driving experience with regional or long-haul routes.
• Ability to comply with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Strong safety and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely over regional and long-distance routes in compliance with DOT regulations and company standards
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials across a multi-state footprint
• Reposition empty trailers to loading locations and return loaded trailers to processing/disposal facilities
• Perform drop-and-hook operations with occasional loading and unloading using pumps/hoses
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
• Maintain transportation documentation including manifests, bills of lading, logs
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles per DOT regulations
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and internal teams about delivery status
• Adapt to changing routes and schedules while maintaining service commitments
• Maintain safety, compliance, and customer service at all times
