Job summary

Hepaco, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver/Equipment Operator in Ladson, SC. Operate a variety of trucks at customer sites and perform driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste cleanup.

Two-week training academy is required; travel and per diem provided. Competitive hourly pay range, comprehensive benefits, and 401K with company match are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission trucks.
• Willingness to perform manual labor and adhere to safety standards.
• Experience with driving hazardous materials clean-up operations is a plus.
• Comfort using mobile devices for logs and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A trucks and assist field laborers in a team environment.
• Load and unload trucks and perform non-driving duties on site.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, and reports in compliance with DOT rules.
• Observe safety and environmental guidelines during operations.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating schedule.
• Perform site remediation and hazardous materials handling as needed.
