Clean Harbors, Inc. in Syracuse NY is seeking a Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat) to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs. The role includes driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste cleanup.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Compliance with OSHA respiratory protection standards.
• Ability to pass drug test and medical exam.
• Willingness for physical labor and site duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets.
• Follow DOT and company safety regulations.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Handle hazardous materials and site remediation as needed.
