Job summary

Kiewit is seeking experienced Truck Drivers to support road construction, grading, and earthmoving operations near Study Butte, Texas. This role requires a valid CDL license and Hazmat endorsement, plus the ability to transport and handle explosives safely.

Pay rate up to $37/hr depending on experience, with a 10 days on/4 days off shift cycle. Per diem, travel allowance, and housing are provided; drug/alcohol tests are required. Overtime and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license required.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• Ability to transport and handle explosives per safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate medium to large trucks transporting materials between sites.
• Load, transport, and handle explosives following safety requirements.
• Maintain explosives inventory and documentation; coordinate with engineers.
• Secure cargo for transport using ropes, blocks, or covers.
• Obtain proper documentation prior to moving materials.
• Follow delivery instructions and verify routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and check fluid levels.
• Maintain logs of hours and maintenance per regulations.
