POOLCORP, a leading pool and outdoor living products distributor, is hiring Hazmat CDL drivers for evening shifts delivering to customers across Florida with occasional travel to Texas or Arizona. Responsibilities include on-time, safe deliveries, nightly unloading, and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• 1 year of recent and continuous tractor-trailer experience on a 48’ manual tractor/trailer with sleeper berth.
• Clean MVR; no DUIs or drug and alcohol incidents in the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations/at fault accidents in the last 3 years; no major violations in the last 3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with PCs and material handling equipment preferred; Moffett/Skelly or Air Brake experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, complete and on-time deliveries across Florida, with occasional Texas/Arizona trips.
• Evening start times and night deliveries; access to stores with keys.
• Unload trailers using an electric pallet jack; collect documents and pallets.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSR and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained and presentable daily.
• Increase job and product knowledge; perform other duties as assigned.
