Job summary

Airgas in Henderson, CO seeks a Local CDL Driver to deliver compressed gas cylinders and hard goods along a fixed route. You will be the primary customer contact, manage orders, and ensure safety and compliance while operating a Class B vehicle on weekdays with possible on-call weekends.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of CDL experience or recent driving-school graduation, a Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain one, and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Experience: at least one year of Class A or B CDL driving in past 5 years or a recent driving-school graduate.
• Endorsements: Class A or B CDL with Hazmat or able to obtain Hazmat after offer contingency.
• Clean MVR: a clean Motor Vehicle Record and must be at least 21.
• Physical: capable of lifting 25–75 lbs, up to 125+ lbs with equipment, and 8 hrs of activity daily.
• Reading: able to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for customers, delivering on a fixed route and handling orders and inquiries.
• Load, transport, and unload safely following DOT and company rules.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance to keep the truck ready for daily routes.
• Maintain physical stamina for extended driving and handling hazardous cargo daily.
