Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a licensed CDL truck driver to support hazardous waste transport and environmental services. This role requires 2-4 overnights per week (Mon-Fri), occasional Saturdays, and a daily hotel stipend with a company card for meals.

Travel, safety, and regulatory compliance are essential. You will package and transport waste safely, complete required paperwork, load/unload at client sites, and maintain strong customer service while following DOT guidelines and routing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Willing to wear company PPE (eye/foot protection, Tyvek, respirator).
• Valid Class B CDL and ability to pass DOT physical, drug test and background check.
• Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred; TWIC Card; knowledge of hazmat/OSHA regs.
• Basic Windows-based software knowledge (Word, Excel).
• Understand/read/write English; 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Package and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
• Complete required paperwork in accordance with regulations and customer policies.
• Load and secure materials and waste or unload truck at various customer sites or Clean Earth locations.
• Prepare and load truck with necessary supplies.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts daily.
• Perform a documented pre-trip and post-trip check on assigned truck.
• Plan schedule/route based on customer needs using daily paperwork.
• Follow routing software route schedule and DOT guidelines.
• Perform other duties as needed.
