Job summary

Sapphire Gas Solutions LLC is seeking an RNG HAZMAT Driver for California operations. The role delivers LNG and CNG, operates and maintains equipment, and supports safe transportation with strict DOT compliance.

The driver will be local to Denair, Fresno, or Tulare areas, home every night, and report to the Director of Transportation. Requirements include 3+ years CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker, clean DOT record, valid CDL and Medical Card, and ability to drive manual transmission.

Qualifications

• Must be local to Denair, CA; Fresno, CA; Tulare, CA.
• US Military Veteran, National Guard/Reserve Member, or Military Spouse preferred.
• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• 3+ years of CDL driving with HAZMAT & Tanker experience required. Endorsements: HAZMAT & Tanker (from permanent home state).
• Familiarity with Samsara preferred.
• Valid DOT & CDL license. Current DOT Medical Card.
• All Drivers must have an acceptable motor vehicle record; provide moving violations from past 3 years.
• Previous employers and references will be checked and must be verifiable.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with strong leadership qualities.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Able to respond to customers with courtesy and knowledge, in person and by telephone.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment for delivering LNG & CNG.
• Deliver a load of natural gas to various customer sites.
• Understand applications/limitations of company equipment.
• Participate in pre-job planning and implementation activities.
• Set up and move equipment to project locations.
• Identify potential issues with equipment and during inspections.
• Report equipment defects, accidents, or damage.
• Operate mid-to-duty vehicles with trailers.
• Secure cargo using chains, binders, tarps, and straps.
• Adequately document daily activities, hours of service, fuel tracking, and DOT regulations.
• Comply with SOPs and safety standards.
