Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, MD seeks a Driver to pick up and deliver materials, verify quantities, and ensure safe handling of loads. The role requires a valid CDL-A license, a current state license, and the ability to obtain a US Secret clearance with Hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, maintaining logs, and coordinating with dispatch for timely deliveries. This is a first-shift, on-site position with safety-first expectations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or recognized equivalent.
• Must Have a valid state-issued Drivers license with a current CDL “A” endorsement and be able to demonstrate skills required to perform the job via a structured interview.
• Must have previous experience with driving commercial vehicles (straight truck or tractor).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US “Secret” clearance as well as HAZMAT endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Pick up materials and deliver to destination in a timely and safe manner. Verify counts and note discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required for loading/unloading.
• Maintain logs, adhere to DOT regulations, and ensure safety and compliance on all routes.
• Coordinate with dispatch for route planning and deliverables; ensure proper blocking/bracing of loads.
