Summary

CHS Herman in Ortonville, MN is seeking a Hazmat Truck Driver. Responsibilities include delivering refined fuels and propane to local customers and assisting as a service technician. A Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements is preferred, or willingness to obtain them. We offer ample overtime during spring and fall. No experience is required. Apply today!

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, timely deliveries safely and professionally.
• Comply with all laws, including pre-trip/post-trip reporting, load securement, and hours of service.
• Assist in the warehouse when not delivering.
• Work extended hours seasonally to meet demand.
• Maintain safety standards and identify hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL
• Ability to read, write, communicate in English, and understand traffic signs and signals.

Additional Qualifications

• Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements or willingness to obtain.
• Meet DOT and company requirements.
• Ability to work additional hours and weekends.
• Bulk liquid experience preferred.
• Pre-employment screening as per industry guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs, walk, stand, sit, bend, kneel.
