Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Store #4381 in Pasadena, TX seeks a delivery driver to transport products to customers, including hazardous materials, using box/flat-bed trucks. You will ensure complete, properly packed deliveries, maintain customer satisfaction, and drive safely and on time.

The role requires loading, unloading, maintaining the vehicle, and interacting with customers. CDL and hazmat endorsement, MEC, and ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a hazardous materials endorsement.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-licensed medical examiner or obtain within five business days of conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to interact with customers and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Ensure appropriate forms are completed.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and on time.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repair needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Adhere to routes and time schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform warehouse duties including tinting and mixing customer orders.
