Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a delivery driver to transport products, including hazardous materials, from the store to customers in Waterville, Maine. You will load orders, maintain the vehicle, and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

Qualified candidates have a valid CDL with hazmat endorsement, DOT MEC, and the ability to lift heavy loads. Evening/weekend shifts may be required, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL with hazmat endorsement.
• Must have a Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-listed examiner or willingness to obtain within five business days of offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be 21+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Spanish language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks to customers.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck and ensure deliveries meet customer requirements.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repair needs to supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Adhere to routes and schedules and follow transportation laws.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts as needed.
• Perform warehouse duties including tinting and mixing customer orders.
