Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Watertown, MA is seeking a delivery driver to support Store #3699. You will deliver products, including hazardous materials, from Sherwin-Williams stores to customers using box and flat-bed trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include loading orders, maintaining vehicle, providing excellent customer service, following routes and time schedules, and complying with transportation laws.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country without visa sponsorship.
• Must have a valid CDL with hazmat endorsement.
• Must have a MEC/DOT medical certificate from a DOT-approved examiner.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with customers and complete reports.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee requirements may apply (meets expectations rating).
• Completion of HR Cloud eLearning courses may be required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products from Sherwin-Williams stores to customers using trucks.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Ensure deliveries are complete and packed safely.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repair needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Follow transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare delivery-related reports and documents.
• Operate cars, trucks, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Assist with store duties including warehouse tasks, tinting and mixing orders.
