Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Store Delivery Driver in Charleston, SC to deliver paints and related products from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. Ensure deliveries are complete, properly packed, and safely delivered to customers; maintain accuracy, contact with customers, and safeguarding products.

Requires valid CDL with HazMat endorsement and MEC, ability to lift 50–70 lbs, willingness to work evenings/weekends, and English proficiency; a background review

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted CDL with hazardous materials endorsement.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-listed examiner or be willing to obtain one within five days of conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to interact with customers and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks to customers.
• Ensure deliveries are complete, properly packed, and safely delivered to the correct customer.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and accurately transport items in a safe, timely manner.
• Possibly interact with customers and handle cash or payment methods as needed.
