Heritage Pool Supply - Akron is seeking a CDL Class B Driver with Hazmat to safely operate commercial vehicles delivering products to customer locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while following all DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• HAZMAT Endorsement.
• Current DOT Medical Certification.
• FMCSA Registration.
• 21 years old for hazardous materials.
• Clean driving record (18 months).
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and OSHA safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills to record deliveries and track inventory.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow all DOT rules and maintain a clean driving record.
• Comply with regulations regarding transportation of hazardous materials.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips.
• Load, unload, and secure orders including hazardous materials.
• Adhere to FMCSA regulations.
• Double-check purchase orders and delivery tickets for routes and inventory.
• Support job site safety by reporting hazards.
• Take photos of delivered products as required by policy.
• Keep records of deliveries, inspections, and receipts.
• Local travel with deliveries starting and ending at the branch.
