Job summary

National Oak Distributors (NOD) is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to transport goods, including hazardous materials, across various locations. A valid CDL Class A with Hazmat endorsement is required to ensure safe vehicle operation and compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and unload cargo safely, and provide excellent customer service to clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with Hazmat endorsement required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Safe driving with a clean record.
• Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport hazardous materials, ensuring DOT/OSHA compliance.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Load and unload cargo with proper techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and vendors.
• Maintain delivery records including logs and manifests.
• Communicate with dispatch in English.
• Maintain a safe driving record.
• Handle cargo with care during loading/unloading.
