Clean Harbors in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Class A CDL HAZMAT Truck Driver/Lab Pack Technician to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, handling and inspecting chemical waste per regulations. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is available for those with a Class A CDL, Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.

New hires will attend a two-week out-of-state Academy training with expenses covered, followed by roles involving 50% overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Must pass background check, drug test and medical.
• OSHA respirator facial hair standards compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Load and unload trucks; perform manual labor on site as needed.
• Place vehicles with proper placards to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain logs, time sheets and reports.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations including DOT.
