Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services, LLC in Reno, NV is seeking a CDL A Driver to transport non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials. The role involves local work with some out-of-town travel, operating a range of vehicles, and performing field support under supervision.

You must have a current CDL A with a clean record, tanker and hazmat endorsements, and be prepared for on-call rotations, safety training, and compliance with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CDL A with clean driving record required.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
• HAZWOPER training/certification preferred.
• English reading/writing capability per DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety and comply with all policies and procedures.
• Document transportation compliance requirements (inspection reports, logs, trip reports).
• Predominantly local work with occasional out-of-town travel; may volunteer for extra routes.
• Load and unload waste materials efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Operate light and heavy equipment (forklifts, skid steers, pressure washers) as needed.
• Wear PPE properly and perform tasks in all weather conditions.
• Work in confined spaces, at heights, and in restricted environments.
• Attend mandatory safety trainings and certifications.
