Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services, LLC is hiring a CDL A Driver to transport non-hazardous and hazardous waste. The role involves operating Roll-Offs, Tankers, Box Vans, and related equipment under supervision in a safety-first environment.

The candidate will perform duties including emergency response tasks, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining compliance documentation. A valid CDL-A with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements and HAZWOPER training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• Current CDL-A with clean driving record.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
• No manual or airbrake restrictions.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and working safely.
• Adhere to and document transportation compliance requirements including inspections and logs.
• Predominantly local work with occasional out-of-town travel; opportunities for extra routes.
• Load and unload different types of waste effectively.
• Operate light and heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, skid steers, pressure washers).
• Wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Perform labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions.
• Work in confined spaces, heights, and restricted areas.
• Operate a range of company vehicles and equipment.
• Attend mandatory trainings to earn required certifications.
• Ensure all paperwork is signed and submitted.
• Work on-call on rotating schedules for emergencies; possible travel.
• Willing to travel for extended periods and on-call shifts.
• Willing to undergo drug testing and health physicals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
