Pam Transport is seeking a CDL Driver - Hazmat in Austin, TX. You will drive safely, handle hazardous materials, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Expect weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Current DOT Medical Certification.
• Completion of FMCSA Registration.
• Hazmat Endorsement.
• At least 21 years old for transporting hazardous materials.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance and OSHA safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills to record deliveries and track inventory.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Possession of a valid state driver's license (for non-CDL roles).

Responsibilities

• Follow all DOT rules and maintain a clean driving record.
• Comply with all federal and state regulations regarding transportation of hazardous materials.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips.
• Load, unload, and organize orders carefully ensuring proper securing of products and hazardous materials.
• Double-check purchase orders and delivery tickets.
• Support job site safety by checking for and reporting potential hazards.
• Take photos of all delivered products as required by company policy.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and receipts.
• Perform pre and post vehicle inspections and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate logs of all transport and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate delays or issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service during the delivery and pick-up operations.
