Job summary

Gas and Supply seeks a Class A or B driver with Hazmat for local routes delivering high-pressure industrial gas, medical or cryogenic cylinders. You will load/unload, perform inspections, and maintain customer interactions with accurate documentation and safety at the forefront.

The role requires a Hazmat endorsement, a valid tanker license, medical card, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Overtime and background checks apply as needed.

Qualifications

• Class A or B driver’s license with Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Current Medical Examiner’s Card.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to drive hazardous cargo up to 8 hours.
• Occasional overtime may be required.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Retail local delivery route experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver/return products to local customers on scheduled routes.
• Record deliveries and pickups on a handheld scanner or load manifest.
• Obtain customer signatures for receipt.
• Load and unload trucks and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Address service inquiries and resolve complaints with customers.
• Maintain vehicle paperwork and compliance with regulations.
• Follow dispatcher instructions and assist with related duties.
