Job summary

Veolia is seeking a detail-oriented pro for sampling inbound and outbound tankers and ensuring proper routing of hazardous waste in compliance with regulations. You will work to keep tank logs accurate and support transfers between tanks, trucks, and railcars.

The role requires strong teamwork, solid written and verbal communication, and a commitment to safety in an industrial setting. The position is on site with a comprehensive benefits package mentioned in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and write effectively.

Responsibilities

• Sample all inbound and outbound tankers and send samples to the laboratory for analysis.
• Utilize and complete tank logs/boards and tracking sheets.
• Transfers hazardous material tank to tank, tank truck, tank to railcar, and truck to railcar.
• Maintain and clean filters on an as needed basis when offloading hazardous waste.
• Perform general housekeeping duties. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Other work related duties as assigned.
