Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a detail-oriented Hazardous Waste & Shipping/Receiving Technician in Mesa, AZ to support environmental compliance and warehouse operations within a high-purity chemical manufacturing environment serving semiconductor and electronics industries.

This role emphasizes strong safety awareness, precise documentation, and coordination with EHS, Production, and Lab teams to improve environmental processes and material flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong organization, recordkeeping, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials and waste containers.
• Certification training may be provided for operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Track facility waste streams, quantities, treatment records, and regulatory manifests.
• Manage hazardous waste collection, labeling, segregation, secondary containment, and 180-day accumulation areas.
• Operate in-house waste-treatment systems and coordinate vendor pickups.
• Conduct routine waste-area inspections and address compliance issues.
• Partner with EHS, Production, and Lab teams on environmental improvements.
• Receive incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders using ERP systems.
• Prepare outbound shipments, packing slips, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and hazardous-material documentation.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Support inventory control, cycle counts, staging, and warehouse organization.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Pay: $22-$35/hour + Discretionary Bonus Potential

What You’ll Do
