Job summary

EQM Services, part of ASRC Industrial, seeks an experienced Response/Project Manager to lead hazardous waste site projects under ERRS for EPA programs. Based in Cincinnati, OH, you will supervise multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate safety, quality and compliance, and ensure timely delivery across diverse remediation contracts.

The role requires 6–8 years on-scene experience with toxic wastes, a 3-year supervisory background, DOT/OSHA knowledge, and willingness to travel about 65%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field.
• CHMM certification is preferred but not required.
• 6–8 years of direct on-scene response experience with hazardous substances/wastes.
• 3 years in a supervisory role over multi-disciplinary teams.
• Working knowledge of environmental DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Approximately 65% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Manage site personnel, subcontractors, and safety program.
• Direct daily work operations and prepare work orders.
• Track progress, schedule and costs vs. plan.
• Review cost reports with Clients and oversee daily reports.
• Meet daily with Clients to review progress and needs.
• Conduct daily Site Safety meetings and oversee safety program.
• Prepare Work Plans, Safety Plans, budgets and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with ARARs and permit requirements.
• Support waste T&D activities and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain all project onsite records.
