Job summary

NOCO Energy Corp in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Experienced Environmental Field Technician to join our field operations team. You will work in industrial settings handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste, supporting remediation, cleanup, and emergency response tasks, while following strict safety procedures.

This role requires willingness to perform physically demanding work, lift up to 50 pounds, and work 12-hour shifts with nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of environmental field technician experience.
• Strong safety culture and ability to work in industrial environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform in physically demanding roles.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
• Handle waste chemicals, oil, or sludge to designated disposal or treatment sites.
• Work at elevated heights and in confined spaces as required.
• Wear PPE and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Interact with customers to understand needs and explain the waste removal process.
• Support emergency response, hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, and equipment decontamination.
