Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Field Service Technician I to perform clean-up and preparation for transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste at customer sites in Avon Lake, OH. You will load/unload tanks and tankers, inspect equipment, and perform confined space entry.

You will operate safety equipment per OSHA rules, handle materials, and represent Reworld professionally on site. Travel up to 25% and training in safety procedures are required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel 10-25% of the time, including overnight travel.
• High school Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts and other tools per policy and OSHA rules.
• Handling, packaging and transportation of both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.
• Removes materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools for industrial cleanup.
• Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
• Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools hand tools and/or other tools as needed.
• Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
• Acts as a professional representative of Reworld at a customer site.
• Complies with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
