Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is hiring a Field Technician in Somerville, MA. The role involves safety‑sensitive work including hazardous waste handling, soil remediation, and emergency response. Training is provided for the right candidate.

The position reports to the Field Services Manager and requires OSHA/DOT screening, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and 401k.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of, or interest in, hazardous waste field.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
• OSHA/DOT physical with drug and alcohol screening required.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Consent to background checks, drug screening, and random testing.
• Safety-sensitive position with lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Willingness to wear respirator as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform confined space entries, soil remediation, chemical decontamination, tank cleaning and sample collection.
• Respond to emergency and customer service needs with a focus on quality.
• Learn DOT, EPA, OSHA regulations and TEI safety practices.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste with emphasis on service.
• Routinely inspect vehicle pre- and post-trip.
• Assist supervisors and equipment operators as requested.
• Rotate on-call duties as part of Emergency Response team.
