Job summary

ENTACT, LLC is seeking a Deckhand (Dredge Work) to perform labor on fresh water dredging sites handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste. You may encounter lead, PCBs, H2S, arsenic, and other hazards; wear PPE and follow safety protocols. A 40-hour HAZWOPER training is required, with welding/fabrication experience preferred.

Role involves travel across the US, with per diem and living allowances. This full-time position in Muskegan, MI offers overtime per state law and benefits, and long-term

Qualifications

• HAZWOPER 40-hour training required.
• Welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent is required or listed.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor on earthmoving, remediation, heavy construction projects and demolition sites.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools and equipment.
• Operate deck equipment like wenches, pumps, compressors, and generators.
• Assist with job safety analyses and reports.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.
