Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; explosives handling safety or hazardous waste handling experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; ability to learn internal Document Control (SharePoint) and ERP (XRM).
• Must obtain and maintain required training including RCRA 40-hour Hazardous Waste Regulations and DOT Hazmat training within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Manage hazardous waste including treatment, deactivation, and offsite shipments as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Maintain hazardous waste documentation and shipment records to regulatory standards.
• Prepare waste manifests and notifications; support environmental compliance training.
• Perform inspections, housekeeping, and safety audits; operate forklift and company vehicle as required.
