Job summary

Clean Harbors in Hampden, ME is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to operate light and heavy-duty trucks at our customer sites; some vehicles include Vacuum Trailers, roll-off trailers, van trailers, box trucks and vacuum loaders used for hazardous waste clean-up.

This role requires a strong safety focus, with daily logs, adherence to DOT regulations, and readiness to respond to emergencies. Training is provided in-state/out-of-state as needed, and travel expenses are covered.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid Class B CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required within 90 days of employment.
• Employee will undergo pre-employment background check, drug screening and physical.
• Ability to operate a variety of Class B trucks and related equipment.
• Willingness to comply with OSHA respiratory protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain daily logs and timesheets.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at time of service.
• Proper placarding to meet DOT regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per U.S. DOT and state/federal rules.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
