Job summary

Clean Harbors in Kent, WA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, with duties on and off-site related to hazardous waste clean-up.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to obtain Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Must successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical by position.
• OSHA respirator standards may apply for positions requiring respirators.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed in a team environment.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs.
• Load and unload trucks and perform manual labor on site as required.
• Ensure daily logs, time sheets, and reports are maintained.
• Follow all DOT, state/provincial, and federal regulations and company guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis and assist with site remediation as needed.
