Job summary

EnviroServe, a Clean Harbors company, in Southfield, MI, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role involves driving and non-driving duties on- and off-site to support hazardous waste cleanup.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices on the job.
• Must perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Must pass background check, drug test and medical exam as applicable.
• Follow OSHA Respiratory Protection Standards when respirators are required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety while following practices.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports.
• Comply with DOT, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Handle hazardous materials and site remediation as required.
