Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Plans, coordinates and controls shipment of material and equipment including hazardous materials.
• Provides advice and assistance to customers on all aspects of distribution functions and prepares reports.
• Determines economical routes and rates for domestic inbound and export shipments.
• Classifies, rates, routes and moves commodities including hazardous materials.
• Plans shipping dates and loading times for shipments to government activities, overseas and CONUS.
• Verifies invoices using automated systems and computes transportation costs.
• Contacts carriers for rates and ensures correct routing per tariffs.
• Reviews automated documentation and corrects missing or invalid information.
