Job summary

Chemtrade is hiring a Tanker Driver in Toledo, OH to transport bulk chemicals safely and efficiently. You will load, transfer, and unload product from tanker trucks, deliver to customer tanks, and complete required documentation.

A strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance is integral to the role. The position requires CDL A with hazmat and tanker endorsements, 2+ years tanker experience, and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent tractor/tanker experience.
• 1+ year of recent tanker experience.
• CDL Class A with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Clean MVR for the past 3 years.
• Medically qualified to drive with a valid medical card.

Responsibilities

• Load, transfer, and unload raw product from tanker trucks.
• Deliver chemicals to customer tanks and complete all required documentation.
• Safely manage hoses and related connections during loading/unloading.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Adhere to all Company, Customer, Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
• Learn and follow plant operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Role Details

• Title: Tanker Driver, CDL A HAZMAT
• Location: 1660 Campbell Street, Toledo, OH 43607
• Schedule: Full-Time Hourly
• Manager: Regional Driver Manager
• Pay: $30.47-$33.50/hour USD + benefits, plus a $5,000 signing bonus (repayable if employment ends within the first year).

What You'll Do

• Load, transfer, and unload raw product from tanker trucks.
• Deliver chemicals to customer tanks and complete all required documentation.

Physical Demands
