Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency Pearl Harbor, HI seeks a Distribution Process Worker (Hazardous Materials) to support stock selection, packing, and loading using Material Handling Equipment. You will process shipments, verify documents, and maintain accurate inventories in a fast-paced environment.

Work involves lifting up to 40 pounds, standing for long periods, and wearing protective gear. Candidates must meet the SOE and demonstrate attention to safety and quality in handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling and warehouse processes.
• Ability to identify condition codes and report discrepancies.
• Familiarity with safety protocols for hazardous materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Stock selection, stow, and location survey.
• Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
• Verify documentation against container or packing labels; report variances.
• Pack and repack items using standard packing materials and techniques.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and load shipments onto conveyances.
