DLA Careers in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a Distribution Process Worker to manage stock selection and inventory duties. This role includes operating Material Handling Equipment and ensuring proper processing of incoming shipments with adherence to safety protocols.
Ideal candidates will have the ability to follow procedures and possess the required skills for inventory management. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain necessary certifications are essential for this position.

Applicants will be rated in accordance with the Office of Personnel Management Qualification Standard for Trades and Labor Occupations. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required, you must meet any screen‑out element listed, and show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties at the level for which you are applying. Emphasis is placed on how you gained the quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time, and the required ability or potential to perform the job. Applicants who do not meet the screen‑out element (SOE) will be eliminated from further competition. The SOE and minimum qualifications for this position are:
Stands on hard surfaces for extended periods of time. Bending, stooping, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds. Uses weight‑handling equipment or receives assistance from other workers for items heavier than 40 pounds.
Works outside and inside areas that are hot, damp, cold, drafty, and poorly lighted. Subject to cuts, scrapes, bruises, muscle strain, noise, abrasions, falls, and injury from falling stock. Wears protective clothing such as steel‑toed shoes, respirators, safety glasses, and earplugs. Mechanized roller conveyors are often present and are a normal part of material routing and distribution.
