Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Hazardous Device Specialist / Public Safety Professional for a remote contract position. You will craft prompts in energetic materials and propulsion, labeling outputs and evaluating responses against policy standards.

You will also write reference answers with technical reasoning and ensure models refuse dangerous questions while providing legitimate answers. Independent, deadline-driven work will help improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

• Certified bomb technician or hazardous device operator experience.
• Military EOD with civilian public-safety training or instruction experience.
• Bomb squad commander or training officer experience.
• Experience in post-blast investigation and device reconstruction.
• CBRNE technical response experience.
