Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Kealakekua, HI. The role requires 1 year of experience, BLS, ARDMS certifications, and any necessary state licensing. Responsibilities include performing ultrasound exams, documenting results, and coordinating with Radiologists.

The position offers travel benefits, 40 hours per week, rotating shifts, and a tax-free stipend as applicable. Immediate start available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ultrasound experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• ARDMS national certification.
• State licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and/or family regarding procedures performed.
• Use ultrasound equipment to identify and observe areas of concern.
• Prepare exam room for examinations and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities requiring immediate attention to medical staff.
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure.
• Conduct scan tests and write reports based on results.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
