Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for Hawaii assignments. The role requires 3+ years of independent MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and Hawaii licensure is highly desired.

You will work 4x10 hour shifts and participate in on-call duties while supporting a dynamic imaging department. Travel positions include housing allowance, licensure reimbursements, and per diem, with health benefits and weekly pay options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years MRI technologist experience performing clinical imaging procedures.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification within six months of employment.
• Completion of an accredited MRI program with certificate or associate degree; ARRT advanced registry or equivalent.
• State of Hawaii license in any radiologic imaging modality highly desirable.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical MRI exams in line with department protocols.
• Work 4x10 hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
• At least one on-call shift per week.
• Schedule may vary due to staffing and operations, including weekends and holidays.
• Standby and call back duty may be required.
• GE MRI systems and EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Independently perform diagnostic MRI exams per physician orders and quality standards.
• Report to Employee Health 48-72 hours before assignment start.
• Candidates with a Monday start should arrive in Hawaii the preceding Thursday to report to Employee Health.
