Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute hospital setting in Hilo, Hawaii. This travel assignment requires ARRT(CT) certification, Hawaii licensure, and a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Assignments include 40 hours per week with 10-hour shifts, no call, and opportunities to work with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and the Vitrea workstation. You will scan per radiologist protocols and perform routine CT scans independently.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required.
• ARRT(CT) certification required.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Must scan per radiologist protocols and perform routine CT scans independently.
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred.
• Experience with venipuncture, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging preferred.
• Experience with biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma or stroke imaging a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans per radiologist protocols.
• Operate CT units and Vitrea workstation.
• Maintain patient safety and radiation safety practices.
• Independently conduct imaging procedures with limited supervision.
