Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Transportation Civil Project Engineer to shape Hawaii's infrastructure, from highways to waterfronts. You will design alignments, prepare plans, and support construction on varied projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license strongly preferred or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design roadway alignments, profiles, utilities, and drainage systems.
• Develop detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform advanced engineering calculations and craft technical reports.
• Support construction with on-site inspections, RFI responses, and submittal reviews.
• Lead small to mid-size tasks independently as a technical expert.
