Job summary

Eleutheria in Hawaii is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in Hilo for the 2026-2027 school year. You will conduct formal assessments, develop IEP-based treatment plans, and provide direct and consultative OT services to help students access their education.

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii OT license
• Able to meet Hawaii Department of Education requirements for school-based work
• Background clearance and TB clearance as required
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to collaborate with students, families and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal and dynamic OT assessments to determine students' functional needs
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct OT services aligned with students' IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, annual reviews, and triennial evaluations
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other providers to support student participation and progress in school
