Job summary

Illingworth Research Group is seeking a Research Nurse (Per Diem) to support clinical trials on Oahu, Hawaii. You will conduct site visits, collect and document data, and ensure compliance with GCP and SOPs while coordinating with the RN team and investigators.

The role requires a registered nurse with at least 2 years post-qualification experience. This per diem position offers competitive hourly pay and a collaborative, multidisciplinary work environment across study teams.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years' post qualification experience.
• Research and clinical trials experience with GCP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of research design and methodology desirable.
• Experience and knowledge of clinical nursing skills such as Venepuncture and ECG preferable.
• Ability to work autonomously with initiative in a team within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Good working knowledge of computer software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Fully conversant with the trial protocol, CRFs/eCRF, SOPs, and timelines for day-to-day trial operations.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, site staff and investigators to ensure smooth flow of information.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data transfer in line with SOPs and data protection requirements.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits and other multidisciplinary meetings as required.
• Coordinate trial visits on- and off-site and ensure procedures follow the protocol and SOPs.
• Administer trial medication per the protocol and manage storage and accountability of meds.
• Process and dispatch samples, liaising with courier services per project needs.
• Assist in identifying eligible patients and support recruitment for clinical trials.
• Ensure accurate reporting of adverse events and SUSARs and support follow-up as needed.
• Report any misconduct or fraud to the site team and RNPM.
