Job summary

SunStrong Management is hiring a full-time Field Service Supervisor in Hawaii who will serve as the Responsible Managing Employee (RME) for the Hawaii contractor license and lead a team of 4 Service Technicians maintaining residential solar and battery storage systems.

The role involves licensing, compliance, safety enforcement, and coordination with a Hawaii-licensed electrician, with remote/field-based duties across Hawaiian islands. Requires W-2 employment and inter-island travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field service teams in a regulated environment.
• Strong track record of regulatory compliance and licensing management.
• Ability to drive safety standards and performance improvements.
• Proven ability to plan and optimize field routes and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own Hawaii service results including yield, cost per resolution, and cycle time.
• Lead and develop a team of 4 Service Technicians across islands.
• Supervise licensing and compliance for Hawaii contractor license (RME).
• Pull and close out permits and coordinate with county offices as required.
• Coordinate with Hawaii-licensed electrician to align licensing.
• Report status and staffing needs to Pacific region leadership using Salesforce/Power BI.
