Job summary

Leidos Inc is seeking a Distribution Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers delivering design and construction packages for distribution systems from 4 kV to 138 kV on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. You will closely collaborate with clients, supervise daily tasks, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

You will mentor junior staff, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinate with permitting agencies and field leaders.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required or equivalent with substitution options.
• Experience designing distribution systems for overhead/underground/urban settings.
• Proficiency with GIS and design software such as MicroStation; knowledge of O-Calc required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5–8 engineers to develop design and construction work packages for distribution systems 4 kV–138 kV.
• Provide technical leadership and review engineering calculations and constructability concerns.
• Train junior engineers and designers and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders; travel to sites and meetings as needed.
• Perform engineering analyses (structural, voltage drop, sag) and conduct QAQC for client submittals.
